SOUTH-FACING ROOMS – In South-facing rooms, there tends to be a consistently bright light throughout the day. Lighter colors will appear more muted, while bolder colors will show up, or appear sounder. NORTH-FACING ROOMS – Light in North-facing rooms comes off cooler and somewhat bluish. For this reason, it’s a great idea to be knowledgeable about the lighting condition and the cardinal direction of the room you are choosing the right paint color for. It largely impacts how you will perceive a paint color. Lighting is one if not the most, important factor when it comes to what a paint color will look like It will take hours off your painting time! LAZY GRAY, LIGHTING & CARDINAL DIRECTIONS WAIT! Before you start painting make sure you have the best painting tools to make your job easier. Grabbing a paint sample and testing it in your home is the best way to get an exact representation of how the paint color will look for you. This is something that really isn’t conveyed enough and it’s why I push sampling paint colors so much. Undertones are subjective and may not be the same for everyone. For example, lighting, decor color, and fixed elements. It’s a good thing to keep in mind that undertones and the colors you see a paint color exhibit are strictly reliant on what’s going on around them. If you are working with a bit more of a complex color trying to figure out the undertones or colors that may show up can get frustrating. Colors like Lazy Gray are pretty straightforward. Undertones tend to be a sticky topic and some are just easier to recognize than others. There are no surprises with the undertones of Lazy Gray. Occasionally all you need is a comparison to help you figure it out. If you find yourself struggling with the tone, compare it to another color. If you don’t want any blue in your gray pay color, I don’t think Lazy Gray is the color for you. Overall, you can expect blue to be present in this paint color. In some cases, it may look almost like a blue paint color with gray in it, and in other cases, it may look like a gray paint color with some blue tones to it. Yes SW Lazy gray has the potential to look blue. This is the only way you will get a 100% guarantee of how the color will perform. If you want to know for sure how this beautiful cool-toned paint color will look in your home, you have to sample it. For example, lighting, decor colors, fixed elements, and so on. Keep in mind that Lazy Gray may look more or less blue or gray depending on the situation of the room. It fits perfectly into the blue-gray paint color category. Lazy Gray is gray but it has those cool blue tones to it as well. Perfect for any space where relaxation happens. This is how Sherwin Williams describes it on their site:Ī light gray that’s almost blue, but not quite. This is a soft mid-toned gray paint color that truly promotes a calming environment. OK, I bet you already guessed that Sherwin Williams Lazy Gray is a gray paint color, but wait there is more! Nevertheless, it’s always entertaining to see what other colors are also in the collection. This also helps determine what color it may shift to or show in certain qualities of light.Īs for the color collections, this is certainly not crucial information. I find it beneficial because it allows you to understand where the paint color comes from. I think this is a super helpful piece of information to know about a paint color. So this tells us that this cool-toned beauty won’t reflect the most light. That’s right smack in the middle of the scale. To sum it up, Lazy Gray has an LRV of 53. LRVs range from 0 -100, with 100 being pure white and 0 being absolute black.Ī great article to read to learn more about LRV is Light Reflectance Value: What Do Those Numbers Mean? LRV or Light Reflectance Value is a measurement commonly used by design professionals that measures the amount of light reflected from and absorbed by a surface. Starting with LRV, this number means absolutely nothing to you unless you know what LRV means. Then in March or April, we get good tides and they appear.” ‘Where do they go?’ After we get real cold fronts, trout disappear. “Speckled trout can be finicky at some times of the year and hard to catch. I don’t know 100 percent why, but I have so many people who say, ‘Oh, we don’t want redfish.’ “In the years I have been guiding, I have been focused on finding speckled trout for customers. “As a state, local anglers are completely obsessed with speckled trout,” Landry growled. Specks don’t bite in this kind of weather - but bull redfish do. It was mid-winter and the weather kind of stunk - cold, yet damp and foggy, in spite of the sun’s attempts to penetrate the fog from above.Īny self-respecting speckled trout fisherman would have been hanging around the house. Landry often takes Williams on fishing excursions for the show and Flynn does a cooking segment for the show. Williams III, host of Bigfish television fishing show, who called in sick at the last minute. Missing from the trip was the guy who put it together, C. At first, he seemed reticent to talk, but when he warmed to a subject, he parsed it at length, displaying a dry, mischievous humor. Always cheerful and outgoing, what you see is what you get.Īlso bearded, but with an intellectual-looking goatee, Flynn was slender and more slightly built, with a wan, yet healthy complexion. Landry was a burly bear of a man with a big, dark beard and a heavy tan. Lloyd Landry IV (Outcast Fishing Charters, 50). The two men were fishing out of Empire, home turf for charter Capt. “Almost any fish is good to eat if it is fresh and properly prepared,” was Flynn’s answer. He gets to pick from the best fish available.Īnd there he was, drooling over a bull redfish. Yet there was famed New Orleans seafood chef Tenney Flynn, twice named Chef of the Year by New Orleans magazine and the partnering owner of GW Fins (likely the most seafood-oriented fine-dining restaurant in a city known for both unmatched restaurants and great seafood), smiling at his prize.įlynn does all the buying and recipe development for the restaurant. The kind most fisherman call “too big to eat, too tough, too strong.” Of all things, a bull red - one with shoulders on it. If doing all this sounds about as fun as removing a splinter from your finger then that is No. I’m flexible about brands so that I can get the best deals.Other basic savings tactics I employ at CVS: I don’t always hit all of those at the same time, but I do try to do at least several of the things on that list when I buy something at CVS. The best way to get something cheap at CVS is to do all of the following simultaneously: Inside the app, you can find your ExtraBucks, and you can click, “Send to card”.Īlso, your emailed receipt will often have some coupons/credits, and you can click, “Send to card” on those as well. After a purchase, check the app and also your e-receipt For example, a brand of shampoo might be on sale, and if you buy $12 worth, you can get $4 of ExtraBucks loaded into your account for a future purchase. CVS does have little sale tags on the shelves, but sometimes those aren’t accurate the app is more trustworthy!ĮxtraBucks are basically CVS credits that can be used on a future purchase. If there’s something I need, I always search the weekly add in the app to see if I can find a sale on it. Use the app to search for sales/ExtraBucks offers The app sometimes has coupons like “$4/$20 of hair care items” without any particular brand specified, and those are especially helpful because you can usually use those AND an in-app manufacturer coupon.įor instance, you could use a $2 Tresemme shampoo coupon AND the $4/20 coupon. You can scroll through the available coupons, and if you see one you want to use, you can just click “send to card” and then it’ll be loaded into your account. Use the CVS app for couponsĬVS used to always give you a million paper coupons, but now pretty much everything can be accessed in the app. You also get 20% off CVS-branded items and free shipping from CVS.com. That’s a pretty good return, and as long as you use your $10 wisely, it can be a smart investment. I pay for a year in advance, which brings the price per month down from $5/month to $4, so basically I’m paying $4 and getting $6 for free. This is a membership program that gives you a number of benefits, but the main one is that you get a $10 store credit every month. And occasionally I find myself there out of necessity/convenience, and in such cases, it’s good to know how to minimize the financial damage. In October 2007, Apple announced that a native Software Development Kit (SDK) was under development and that they planned to put it "in developers' hands in February". Jobs' reasoning was that developers could build web applications through the Safari web browser that "would behave like native apps on the iPhone". Initially, third-party native applications were not supported. At the time of its unveiling in January, Steve Jobs claimed: "iPhone runs OS X" and runs "desktop class applications", but at the time of the iPhone's release, the operating system was renamed "iPhone OS". The operating system was unveiled with the iPhone at the Macworld Conference & Expo on January 9, 2007, and released in June of that year. Forstall was also responsible for creating a software development kit for programmers to build iPhone apps, as well as an App Store within iTunes. The decision enabled the success of the iPhone as a platform for third-party developers: using a well-known desktop operating system as its basis allowed the many third-party Mac developers to write software for the iPhone with minimal retraining. Jobs favored the former approach but pitted the Macintosh and iPod teams, led by Scott Forstall and Tony Fadell, respectively, against each other in an internal competition, with Forstall winning by creating iPhone OS. In 2005, when Steve Jobs began planning the iPhone, he had a choice to either "shrink the Mac, which would be an epic feat of engineering, or enlarge the iPod". The current stable version, iOS 17, was released to the public on September 18, 2023. Major versions of iOS are released annually. These mobile apps have collectively been downloaded more than 130 billion times. As of December 2023, Apple's App Store contains more than 3.8 million iOS applications. Since its launch, iOS has been extended to support other Apple devices such as the iPod Touch (September 2007) and the iPad (introduced: January 2010 availability: April 2010). It is the basis for three other operating systems made by Apple: iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS. It is the world's second-most widely installed mobile operating system, after Android. It is the operating system that powers many of the company's mobile devices, including the iPhone the term also includes the system software for iPads (predating iPadOS, which was introduced in 2019) as well as on the iPod Touch devices (which were discontinued in mid-2022). It was unveiled in January 2007 for the first-generation iPhone, launched in June 2007.Īlthough some parts of iOS are open source under the Apple Public Source License and other licenses, iOS is an Apple proprietary software. IOS (formerly iPhone OS) is a mobile operating system based on macOS and on components of the Mach microkernel and FreeBSD, a Unix-like operating system, developed by Apple Inc. Subscriptions and in-app purchases give you access to more features, content, and more.Proprietary software except for open-source components Some free apps offer in-app purchases and subscriptions that you can buy. You won't be charged for downloading a free app. In the App Store, if an app has a Get button instead of a price, the app is free. Isandir - for all these awesome portraits. We also feature mods for Neverwinter Nights II. This mod forces to use default portraits for NPCs, so it will conflict visually with mods that change these (Ust Natha version of the portraits use default portraits as the base). The Gibberlings Three (G3) is a very active modding community for the Infinity Engine, which powers games such as Baldurs Gate, Baldurs Gate II, Icewind Dale, Icewind Dale II and Planescape: Torment, both the originals and the Enhanced Editions. The mod is compatible with NPC Damage mod by khayman and SConrad (damage portrait swap is disabled during the Ust Natha illusion). The "bmp/foldername/alt" directories also contain alternative portraits that are not used by the mod, but you can swap them manually if you like them better. In "art" folder you can see all portraits that come with this mod in XL size. If Isandir decides to make them they will be included in future versions of the mod. Currently the follwing vanilla NPCs don't have Ust Natha portraits: Dorn, Neera, Yoshimo, Hexxat, Rasaad, Sarevok. When the illusion is over (when you attack Adalon or when leaving the Underdark) the portraits will be changed back to normal ones. Normal ones will be swapped with Ust Natha version as soon as Adalon casts her illusion spells. This component implements Ust Natha BG2 NPC Portraits during Underdark questline.
